Get an Edge on Tough Cutting Tasks

Super quick knife lesson: most EDC blades you see come with a smooth, "plain" cutting edge. It makes for clean cuts and better control.

Another type of edge you might see on outdoors knives has added teeth, or "serrations." Those help with sinking into and ripping through tougher materials like rope, fabric, meat, or bread.
